Vessel - Airplanter

2019 - Present

This is our second product family in the Vessel line. The Airplanter creates a small interior space for an air plant. The porous shell allows for the occasional spritz or the weekly dunk.

The Airplanter’s twisting hexagonal patterns are shared with it’s two cousins - the Planter and the Vase. Each individual has a unique combination of size, tiling and twist parameters, and the family contains more asymmetrical forms than in the Planter family.

Prototypes

In preparation for upcoming releases in our Shapeways store and on Opensea, we did a lot of prototyping in 2021. All of these Airplanter family members were printed in our studio, and given away to friends, family and neighbors in Brooklyn.
